The Loan Process

At Phoenix Home Loans we try to make the loan process quick and easy. In most cases, we can close your loan in as little as 5 to 15 business days.

      Here are the steps in our loan process:

  1. Contact us at Phoenix Home Loans to discuss your financial needs, either by calling our office or by completing our online application found by clicking on the "Apply Now" option on our home page. If you apply online, your application will immediately be forwarded to one of our loan officers who will contact you within 24 hours.
  2. A loan officer will contact you and review your financial situation. You will discuss the qualifying factors for your loan, including the source and amount of your income, your credit history and the amount of equity in your home. Generally, you will have to provide only a few items via mail or fax for us to qualify you. These items include a recent check stub, the most current W2 form from your employer and the name and number of the agent who insures your home.
  3. Based upon the information provided to us, we will discuss the various loan options available to you and the specifics including the loan amount, loan term, interest rate, loan payment and any associated costs of the loan.
  4. After you have decided on which loan is most appealing to you, an appraisal will be scheduled (assuming your selected loan program requires one) so we can accurately assess the value of your home. In most cases, we receive the appraisal within 72 hours of your scheduled appointment
  5. We submit all loan documents to our investors for final approval. Once we obtain final approval on your loan, we schedule a time for you to sign your loan papers. You will receive your loan funds the week following your closing.
